Jesmond is ideal for professional lets, just a stones throw away from Newcastle city centre, Newcastles town moor and the local bars and restaurants in Jesmond and Gosforth.Osborne Rd has many of Jesmond’s bars, bistros and restaurants while Acorn Rd is the place to go for your everyday items including supermarkets, general dealers, fast food and clothing. Another place to check out is Brentwood Avenue, only a short walk away from Osborne Road here you will find bespoke delis, coffee shops and restaurants with a bit more of a laid back culture.

Jesmond Dene was gifted to the city many years ago and is a great place to visit on a sunny day, if you feel like a stroll along the river and woodland. The area separates Jesmond from the lively student area of Heaton (see Heaton student accommodation), also hidden in the centre of the Dene is the Fisherman’s Lodge which is one of Newcastle’s most exclusive and famous restaurants.

The area is linked to the region’s Metro system which gets you into the city centre in less than 10 minutes.  If you want to live in a vibrant and decidedly ‘cool’ place then Jesmond is THE place to be for both young professionals and students.
